Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Feeling Wheel app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Natasha Wilson (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service with an optional paid subscription. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Your emotion logs stay on your device

The emotions, categories, notes, and history you record in the Application are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to the Service Provider, are not synced to any cloud account, and are never shared with anyone. If you delete the Application, that data is deleted with it. You can export your own data at any time from within the Application.

What information does the Application collect?

No account or registration is required to use the Application, and the Service Provider does not ask for your name, email address, or any other information that directly identifies you. However, to understand how the Application is used and to keep it working well, the Application collects a limited amount of anonymous usage and diagnostic data through the third-party services described below.

This includes:

• Anonymous usage analytics — such as which screens you open, which buttons and charts you interact with, whether you have added a home-screen widget, whether a subscription offer was shown and how it was resolved, and similar app-activity events. These events are tied to a randomly generated app-instance identifier, not to your identity.
• Custom emotions you create — if you add or delete a custom emotion, the name and category you chose for it are included in an anonymous analytics event. Please avoid putting personal or identifying information in custom emotion names. Your regular emotion logs and any notes you attach to them are not collected.
• Crash and diagnostic data (Android only) — if the Application crashes, anonymous crash reports and technical diagnostics are collected to help fix the problem.
• Subscription status — if you purchase a subscription, purchase and entitlement information is processed to unlock and maintain your paid features.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Third-party services

The Application uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data:

• Google Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage analytics (both platforms). Privacy policy
• Google Firebase Crashlytics — anonymous crash and diagnostic reporting (Android only). Privacy policy
• RevenueCat — manages subscriptions and purchases. Privacy policy
• Apple App Store / Google Play — process any purchases and, on Android, in-app review prompts. See Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.

The Service Provider does not sell your data and does not use it for advertising.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You may also be able to limit analytics through your device's operating-system privacy settings.

Children

The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider at feelingwheelapp@gmail.com so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The usage and diagnostic data described above is transmitted over encrypted connections and handled by the reputable third-party services listed above. Because your emotion logs and notes never leave your device, they are not exposed to these services at all.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to their Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.
